Water / Wastewater Superintendent

Position Summary:

Under the general direction of the Village Manager, oversees utility long-range planning, drinking water and wastewater treatment operations, manage capital and operating budgets for the Water and Sewer Department, manage staff, and conduct field work as necessary. Provides leadership and oversight to a team of 3 water and sewer operators and maintenance technicians. Ensures that overall operations effectively manage water and sewer infrastructure assets and properly plan via industry accepted asset management practices.

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary: $65,000 - $70,000 DOQ

Retirement: up to 10% match, no vesting period

Insurance: Medical covered to Municipal hard cap, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, PEHP contribution. Generous opt-out payments on medical

Time Off: 240 hours total earned time off (sick vacation, personal). Payout on accumulated vacation to set cap. 9 holidays.
