Maintenance Personnel

The Village of Sparta seeks dedicated individuals to join our Department of Public Works as Laborer and Maintenance Personnel. This role involves maintaining and repairing Village infrastructure, including water and sewer lines, streets, parks, and more. Responsibilities also include operating and maintaining water and wastewater treatment facilities.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• State of Michigan CDL B-license with Air Brakes required
• Willingness to work overtime and be on call
• Basic computer skills
