DPW Supervisor and/or Operator Foreman

The Village of Capac seeks a highly qualified candidate to lead the crucial Department of Public Works. Reporting directly to the Village Manager, the DPW Supervisor and/or Operator Foreman will play a pivotal role in planning, working, operating, coordinating, supervising, and overseeing all aspects of the Public Works Department. This includes water distribution, sewer collection, parks, streets, events, storm drainage, and fleet and building maintenance. The supervisor will also be responsible for the general supervision of all public works employees. A State of Michigan license, either S-3, D-3, or L-1, is required or able to be obtained within one year, with the remaining licenses expected to be obtained. A Michigan CDL is also a requirement.

The ideal candidate will be a positive and self-motivated individual with a solid, proven track record of management and providing outstanding customer service.
